Chile's Manuel Pellegrini marks his second season at the "Citizens'" helm with a lineup that includes Frank Lampard, on loan with Manchester City before joining the New York City FC in the MLS; and three new players: Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero, Brazilian midfielder Fernando and French right back Bacary Sagna. In addition, Manchester City is fielding several members of Argentina's national team: Pablo Zabaleta, Sergio Agüero and Martín Demichelis.

Newcastle also has three Argentine players in its ranks: Fabricio Coloccini, Jonás Gutiérrez and Facundo Ferreyra.
