Actress Valerie Stevenson has died at age 52, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Stevenson passed away on Jan. 10 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

She began her career at 16 when she relocated to Nashville in order to take part in the Grand Ole Opry.

Stevenson is best known for her role on the 1980s CBS series DREAMS as Lisa Copley, opposite John Stamos. She also guest starred on a single episode of THE A-TEAM in 1985.

Stevenson also appeared on such shows as OUR FAMILY HONOR, THE ELLEN BURSTYN SHOW and GUIDING LIGHT.
