The previously announced new SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH series is moving from The CW to Netflix. In addition to the move, it wasn't picked up for just one season, but for two.
The new series is based on the Archie comic CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA. The CW found a hit earlier this year with another Archie Comics based series RIVERDALE. The new SABRINA show the similar format to RIVERDALE as a one-hour drama. It is currently being describes as a darker reimagining of the comic. Netflix is currently home to the first season of RIVERDALE.
