Former Footloose star Kevin Bacon is in talks to join JUNGLE, a semi-authobiographical thriller by Yossi Ghinsberg depicting a dangerout trip to the Amazon jungle. Bacon will likely play the mysterious jungle guide, Karl. Adapted by Justin Monjo, Greg McLean is set to direct the film which will be filmed in Australia and Colombia in early 2015.

Under the directorial debut of Liam O'Donnell, Frank Grillo has landed the lead in BEYOND SKYLINE, a spinoff of 2010 film, Skline. Both scripts were written by O'Donnell. Skyline directors Greg Strause, Colin Strause, and Matthew Chausse will produce the standalone film. Grillo plays a detective who has to rescue his son from aliens.

Edmund Kinglsey, Oscar winner Ben Kingsley's son, is set to star in CAPSULE. Under the direction of Andrew Martin, who also adapted the script, Kingsley portrays a British war pilot who ends up alone in space during the Cold War.

Ty Simpkins has joined Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe in THE NICE GUYS, directed by Shane Black. Gosling plays private investigator Holland March in 1970s LA who has hired tough guy Jackson Healy (Russell Crowe) to help him find a missing girl and investigate the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. Simpkins will play Bobby, who makes a crucial discovery for the case.

Disney Channel actress Olivia Holt has joined SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME. Also starring Greg Kinnear and Renee Zellweger, the film tells the story of an art seller named Hall (Kinnear) who forms an unlikely friendship with a homeless man, played by Djimon Hounsou to save his marriage to Zellweger's character. Jon Voight plays Hall's father, and Holt plays Hall's daughter, Regan. Michael Carney is set to direct.
