English sports television presenter Cara Robinson has joined Golf Channel's on-air team, and will serve as a co-host for the network's signature daily news and lifestyle show, Morning Drive. A London native, Robinson will transition to Orlando, Fla., - Golf Channel's world headquarters - and is expected to start her new role in late February.

Robinson brings extensive experience in television and golf. She most recently served as host of Golfing World, a weekly program on Sky Sports - available to 20 million viewers in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Austria - traveling to golf's biggest events to conduct player interviews and features about all aspects of the game. She also participated in @TheOpenLIVE, a live digital telecast of the Open Championship, and has contributed as a studio host and reporter for productions surrounding Wimbledon, World's Strongest Man, rugby and the London 2012 Olympics, where she hosted Sky Sports' tennis coverage.

"Cara's passion for golf and experience working in sports television are a welcome addition to our Morning Drive team," said Molly Solomon, Golf Channel executive producer. "Viewers will immediately connect with her engaging personality and strong rapport with many of the top European players in the game as they begin their day withMorning Drive."

Robinson will continue to make occasional contributions to Golfing World, and the first episode of 2015 will premiere on Golf Channel on Wednesday, Jan. 21, with 48 episodes scheduled to air throughout the year.
