CBS to Air THE LONGEST YARD Remake, 7/27

Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Burt Reynolds star in THE LONGEST YARD, a remake of the hit 1974 comedy, to be broadcast Saturday, July 27 (9:00-11:20 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

When former NFL pro quarterback Paul Crewe (Sandler) is sent to prison, he persuades fellow convict and former football coach Nate Scarborough (Reynolds) to help him transform a diverse group of inmates into a football team.

Unlikely teammates, the convicts unite when they find out it's the guards who they will be playing. With the help of Scarborough, Caretaker (Rock) and the rest of the meanest and biggest inmates in the prison, Crewe promises the cons a chance to exact Revenge in a bone-crunching showdown where anything goes.
