CBS Wins in Viewers & Key Demos for 5th Time in Six Weeks

CBS placed first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the fifth time in six weeks with six of the Top 10 broadcasts in viewers and seven of the Top 10 in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 24.

CBS had the top three broadcasts in viewers with NCIS, THE BIG BANG THEORY and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS.

Among adults 18-49, THE BIG BANG THEORY, SURVIVOR, NCIS, MOM, 2 BROKE GIRLS, CRIMINAL MINDS and THE ODD COUPLE were all Top 10 broadcasts, including ties.

THE ODD COUPLE posted season highs in viewers and key demographics while MOM and 2 BROKE GIRLS match season highs in adults 18-49.

Season-to-date, CBS is in first place in viewers, +2.81m ahead of second place NBC (11.11m vs. 8.30m) and is first in both adults 25-54 (3.1) and in adults 18-49 (2.3).

CBS Weekly Highlights

THE BIG BANG THEORY

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (14.16m), adults 25-54 (4.6/15) and adults 18-49 (3.2/12). Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 7), THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/16), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/12) added +660,000 viewers (from 13.50m, +5%).

THE ODD COUPLE

THE ODD COUPLE was first in viewers (8.47m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and second in adults 18-49 (1.7/06)-all season best deliveries. Compared to last week, THE ODD COUPLE was up +18% in adults 25-54 (from 2.2/07), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 1.5/05) and added +1.37m viewers (from 7.10m, +19%).

MOM

MOM was first in viewers (8.31m), adults 25-54 (2.7/08) and adults 18-49 (1.8/06). MOM matched season best adults 18-49 ratings. Compared to last week, MOM was up +17% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/07), +20% in adults 18-49 (from 1.5/05) and added +850,000 viewers (from 7.46m, +11%).

2 BROKE GIRLS

2 BROKE GIRLS was first in adults 25-54 (2.5/07), adults 18-49 (1.7/06) and averaged viewers 6.92m-matching season best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings. Compared to last week, 2 BROKE GIRLS was up +14% in adults 25-54 (from 2.2/06), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 1.5/05) and added +670,000 viewers (from 6.25m, +11%).
