CBS EVENING NEWS Scores Broadcast's Highest Adults 25-54 Rating in Nearly a Year

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY scored the broadcast's highest adults 25-54 rating in nearly a year (since the week ending Feb. 12, 2016), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 27.
The CBS broadcast delivered a 1.6/06 in adults 25-54 - the demographic most important to those who advertise in news - and 7.86m total viewers for the week ending Jan. 27. The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY maintained its adults 25-54 rating compared to last year. NBC declined -5% (1.9/08 from 2.0/08) and ABC remained flat (1.7/07). The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY also tied ABC in adults 25-54 two nights last week, on Tuesday and Wednesday with a 1.6 rating.Videos
