THE VAMPIRE DIARIES | 8:00-9:00pm | The CW
By: Erin Resnick | @enr702

What's more fun than a corn maze? Don't answer because literally anything else is more fun. But this week's Homecoming themed episode of TVD finds our favorite supernaturals down at the local corn maze. Stefan struggles to contain his newly turned girlfriend with the help of Caroline, Alaric gets closer to doctor Jo, and Elena gets even cozier to her human "friend" Liam. In 1994 Hell, Damon and Bonnie struggle with psychopath cutie Kai and returning to the land of the living. Do you think they can bring me back some French Toast Crunch?

IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN | 8:00-9:00pm | ABC
By: Dylan Siegman | @Dsiggy15

In the realm of Halloween-themed shows/movies that don't scare the pants off of you, I'm pretty sure this one is the best. The Peanuts special is full of emotions - sadness for Linus being called crazy for believing in the Great Pumpkin, pity for Charlie Brown getting a rock at every house while trick-or-treating, and fortitude for Snoopy's brave fight against the Red Baron. Although it doesn't end the best, it still gives you delight, just as the Peanuts cartoons tend to do.

SCANDAL | 9:00-10:00pm | ABC
By: Jennifer McHugh | @eponineq

Now that everybody thinks Jake is guilty, his fate is left in the hands of... Abby? Abby has been upstaged by Olivia Pope her entire career, is this her chance to break out and save the day? Mellie finally took a shower and took off the Uggs (thank goodness). I hope she is able to find her strength to rejoin the land of the living. I think her estranged husband is going to need her.

PARENTHOOD | 10:00-11:00pm | NBC
By: Matt Smith

According to the promo, NBC bills the episode as the one "that will put their PARENTHOOD to the test." For one, much to Adam and Kristina's surprise, developments are made in Max's relationship with Dylan. But the big storyline is saved for Hank (Ray Romano) and Ruby, where Ruby gets into trouble that's out of Hank's league. Also, Crosby deals with the aftermath of the fallout between him and Oliver Rome, finally feeling the financial pressure. Uh oh. Should be a doozy. All the more reason, though, to tune in!
