I love me some Olivia Pope, almost as much as I love me some Kerry Washington, but when is this girl going to learn? They say that the the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, it's not true, but if it was, either Liv is bat-poop crazy, or she doesn't actually expect anything different each time she runs to Fitz's aid. She does it again as part of Thursday's "But, Wait! What's On TV Tonight?" picks. Hopefully it doesn't end up with someone dead or living in a hole in the ground this time. So, what will you be watching tonight?

BWW TV World will bring you a handful of picks from across the TV landscape. So, if you have nothing to do each night, check in with us, and we will tell you the best ways to spend your primetime hours.

All times are Eastern

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES | 8:00-9:00pm | The CW
By: Erin Resnick | @enr702

Damon and Bonnie continue to search for clues as they learn that they are not alone. Elena, now free from her memories of Damon, persuades her friends to party with her at the local swimming hole. Stefan, hellbent on vengeance for the death of his girlfriend, returns to Mystic Falls in search of Enzo but finds Elena and her strange behavior instead.

GRACEPOINT | 9:00-10:00pm | Fox
Kara McCoy | @i_got_the_tweet

Tensions run high as Mark becomes the new suspect in his own son's murder. Sure, bloodstains were found on his boat, but I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable, non-incriminating explanation for that, right? Like, maybe he, um...Or maybe...um... Yeah, see, this is why I could never be a detective. I'll just leave Carver and Miller to sort this one out.

SCANDAL | 9:00 - 10:00 | ABC
By: Jennifer McHugh | @eponineq

Olivia is called to the White House when once again the First Family needs her skills to cover up, you guessed it, a scandal! I know that Liv is the best in the business, but is there really no one else in our nation's capital that is competent enough to handle the White House's dirty laundry? She is kind of the dirtiest piece of laundry the White House has... no offense Olivia. At least your laundry looks fabulous!

A to Z | 9:30-10:00pm | NBC
By: Dylan Siegman | @Dsiggy15

If anyone knows me, they know how much I loved HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. That being said, this show isn't HIMYM, but I feel like it's trying to be. Take Cristin Milioti, add an interesting story-telling device, mix in a back and forth love story, and you've got a show pretty similar to the exploits of Ted Mosby and friends. That being said, I do enjoy the show and hope that they will distinguish themselves from HIMYM in the future. Plus Ben Falcone and Christina Kirk are nonstop hilarious.
