Broadway and Disney veteran Allie Trimm wrote and sang the title song, "Fireworks" for the new musical series SECOND STAR.

You may know her from her critically acclaimed Broadway debut as the lovable 'Patrice' in 13 THE MUSICAL by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown. She has appeared on various TV shows and films including "30 Rock", "Private Practice", Renee Zellweger's pilot "Cinnamon Girl" and Disney's "PROM".

The show stars Clayton Snyder, of Lizzie McGuire fame, who sings lead on the show's original song "Go, Go, Go." Haley Michele Gorman, Nickolas Eiter, and Stephen Tyler Howell also star on the show. Snyder, Gorman, and Eiter play the musical Davis siblings, while Howell plays Bucky the unlucky barista.

The show comes from the minds of film/TV producer Richard Allen and music producer Taran Gray and will be "a half-hour dramedy musical series."

SECOND STAR follows the very thoughtful, very musical, and often very amusing lives of the Davis family. The Davis teens have just inherited their grandfather's old music venue while moving back to a hometown they haven't lived in for years. They recently lost their father and grandfather to a terrible tragedy. Now, in the unfamiliar town, they embark on a new journey of discovering themselves while healing from loss.

Original music for the show was written and produced by music producer Taran Gray, Addam Farmer of the hit band Island Apollo, and music producer Chase Ryan, sibling to Disney Alumni Debi Ryan.

This Disney XD project will premiere Tuesday, April 5th at 4 p.m. on Maker TV.
