According The Hollywood Reporter, Bill Murray is in talks to join Cameron Crowe's untitled romantic comedy for Sony, slated for release in 2014.

Bradley Cooper will star in the film as a defense contractor who falls for an Air Force pilot (played by Emma Stone) after he's assigned to oversee the launch of a weapons satellite from Hawaii. The two end up joining forces to put a stop to the launch.

Cooper and Stone will join previously announced cast members Rachel McAdams, Danny McBride, Alec Baldwin, Jay Baruchel and Edi Gathegi.

The film will be a reunion for Murray and producer Scott Rudin, who produced the Murray starrers The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited and Moonrise Kingdom. It will also mark Murray's first collaboration with Crowe. The Wrap was the first to report the news of Murray's possible involvement in the film."

Murray is set to appear next in another Sony project, George Clooney's World War II movie The Monuments Men, in theaters Dec. 18.
