Russell Brand will take BrandX back to his hometown roots in London, England on Thursday, March 7 and Thursday, March 14 for his full-hour live show on FX. Both shows will take place at the Duchess Theatre in Soho and broadcast at its new time of 11:00 PM ET/PT. Emmy(R) nominated stand-up comic Eddie Izzard and musician Noel Gallagher will guest star on March 7; (Guest stars for March 14 are TBD).

Eddie Izzard

Already one of the most acclaimed comics of his generation, Eddie Izzard is developing an equally stellar reputation as a film, television and stage actor. Izzard was last seen as Grandpa Munster in NBC's Mockingbird Lane. Izzard released his latest DVD, Eddie Izzard: Live at Madison Square Garden, a recording of his brilliant sold out show. He further proved his unique versatility by hitting all entertainment mediums, including his stint on Broadway in Race and in the independent film, Every Day. He also became the first solo stand-up comedian to appear at the Hollywood Bowl in the celebrated Eddie Izzard: Stripped to the Bowl. In 2010, Believe: The Eddie Izzard Story, the original documentary which portrays his rise to fame received an Emmy nomination. His bizarre, tangential, absurd and surreal comic narratives, lauded for their creativity and wit, have him recognized as one of today's foremost stand-ups.

NOEL GALLAGHER

A founding member of the British rock group Oasis, guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher became as well known for his catchy, soulful songs like "Wonderwall," "Champagne Supernova" and "Don't Look Back in Anger." Oasis was the most successful music act in their native country, with 22 Top 10 hits, most of which were penned by Gallagher. Gallagher launched a new act, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, while retaining his position as one of the U.K.'s most respected musicians, as well as one of the country's top headliner.

BrandX aims Russell Brand's unique, rollicking skillset at the traditional monologue, celebrity interviews, and audiences segments. The series is produced by FX Productions, in association with Branded Films and Dakota Films. Executive Producers are Brand, TRoy Miller, Nik Linnen and John Noel.

Russell Brand shot to fame in the U.S. in 2008 when he was seen as rocker "Aldous Snow" in the Judd Apatow-produced comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Since then, the British star has become an international comedic success. Beginning his career as a stand-up comedian, Russell rose to fame in the UK in 2003 for his Big Brother spin-off, Big Brother's Big Mouth. He launched his first nationwide tour, Shame, in 2006; the show was released on DVD as Russell Brand: Live. Brand launched his second nationwide tour in 2007, Russell Brand: Only Joking; released on DVD as Russell Brand: Doin' Life.

He brought his stand-up comedy tour to the United States in 2009 with his tour, Russell Brand: Scandalous. Previous film credits include Warner Bros. Arthur, Universal's Hop, Get Him to the Greek, Disney's Bedtime Stories and Miramax's The Tempest. Also an acclaimed author, Russell has written two books, My Booky Wook: A Memoir of Sex, Drugs and Stand-Up, which was on The New York Times best-seller list for five weeks in a row, and the follow up, Booky Wook 2: This Time It's Personal. Since hosting the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008 and 2009, he has garnered the largest audience since 2004, with nearly nine million viewers.
