ATL Homicide Faces A Horrific Murder Of A 21-Year-Old Mother On Monday, August 6 At 10/9C Life seems to be going great for Sparkle Rai, until her boyfriend comes home to find her strangled to death only a few feet from her baby. Veteran ATLANTA Homicide detectives David Quinn and Vince Velazquez set out to find the truth. The next episode of TV One's new show ATL HOMICIDE will explore the gritty details of the case on Monday, August 6 at 10/9C.

Sparkle appeared to have it all -- the 21-year-old former cheerleader just had a baby, moved in with her boyfriend Ricky and the two were planning to get married, when things come to a screeching halt. Ricky comes home to find Sparkle has been strangled to death only a few feet away from her baby, and becomes the prime suspect. Quinn and Velazquez set out to reveal the truth about her murder and uncover someone from Sparkle's past that may have wanted her dead.

ATL HOMICIDE is flipping the true crime genre on its head. Each episode focuses on one dramatic murder case told in Quinn and Velazquez's own words. The audience is immersed in the action - as if it's happening in the moment - following two of Atlanta's most decorated Homicide detectives as if they were on the case in their prime. ATL HOMICIDE is produced for TV One by Wide Net Productions and Jupiter Entertainment.
