ABC Music Lounge's "Nashville"-inspired docu-web series, "On the Record," is live at www.abc.com/musiclounge with the original song, "What If I Was Willing" written by Brian Davis, Randy Montana and Billy Montana and performed by Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott and again separately by Chris Carmack as Will Lexington. The song is available on iTunes and ABC.com/MusicLounge and is featured in this week's episode of "Nashville," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Set in a beautiful barn just outside of Nashville, this week's "On the Record: What If I Was Willing," goes behind the scenes for a special acoustic performance with songwriters Brian Davis, Randy Montana and Billy Montana, and later into the studio with acclaimed producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson). Interviews with the songwriters, "Nashville's" creator/executive producer, CALLIE KHOURI and Chris Carmack (Will Lexington), further acknowledge the extraordinary collaboration that went into creating this week's featured song.

"A lot of times a song, if you let it - it will take you where you're supposed to go and it was one of those moments... All of us kind of zoned in on exactly what we needed and it just wrote itself," shared Davis.

"I heard that song and just flipped. I loved it," said Khouri.

"I had the privilege of cutting a couple things on the show last year and the producers called me this year and wanted to know if I wanted to be a part of it. It's a great experience and I loved the cast that I got to record with," added Michael Knox.

All original music is released by ABC Studios, Lionsgate and ABC Music Lounge in association with Big Machine Records.
