ABC's MISTRESSES Delivers Strong Year-to-Year Improvement

ABC earned second place on Monday in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, while ranking #1 the night in Adults 18-34 and across all key Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54).
ABC's The Bachelorette ranked #1 from 8-10pm, beating NBC's 2-hour season premiere of American Ninja Warrior by 1.4 million viewers and by 6% in Adults 18-49. In addition, the ABC unscripted series was Monday's #1 TV show with Women 18-34 and #2 with Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, behind only CBS' Under the Dome. The Bachelorette grew week to week in Adults 18-34 (+7%) to equal a season high (tying its premiere on 5/27/13). Building week to week in Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%), ABC's Mistresses beat out NBC's series debut of Siberia in the 10 o'clock hour by 19% in viewers and by 9% in young adults. The new drama was up by double-digit percentages for ABC in The Hour year to year with viewers (+14%) and young adults (+20%), improving over original programming on the year-ago night (The Glass House).Videos
