With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of March 7, 2016, ABC grew to 4-week highs (since the week of 2/8/16), building for the 2nd straight week in Total Viewers (+7% - 2.113 million vs. 1.978 million) and Adults 18-49 (+1% - 600,000 vs. 592,000).
ABC was the week's No. 1 network in late-night in Total Viewers (2.113 million). "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F, 11:35 p.m.)During the week of March 7, 2016, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" beat CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" among Adults 18-49 (+8% - 672,000 vs. 620,000) for the 3rd-straight week and for the 5th time in 6 weeks. With only 4 original telecasts during the week, "Kimmel"'s repeat telecast on Friday (3/11/16) outdelivered "Colbert"'s original telecast by 18% with Adults 18-49 (674,000 vs. 572,000). "Kimmel" also beat "Colbert" for the 3rd-consecutive week among Adults 18-34 (+5% - 199,000 vs. 189,000). • "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was up for the 2nd week in a row (2.226 million and 668,000, respectively, on w/o 2/29/16) in both Total Viewers (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+1%), drawing its largest overall audience in 4 weeks - since the week of 2/8/16. ABC's "Nightline" ranked No. 1 versus its CBS and NBC competition in Total Viewers (1.583 million) during the week of March 7, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" outdelivered CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.244 million) by 339,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.439 million) by 144,000.
