ABC's 'American Idol' Holds 92% of its Week-Ago Monday Premiere Audience and 'The Good Doctor' Wins at 10 p.m.

With "American Idol" and "The Good Doctor," ABC once again finished a strong 2nd to "The Voice"-led NBC on Monday night in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6 vs. 1.8/7) andmoved ahead of NBC to win the 10 o'clock hour with "The Good Doctor" dominating "Good Girls" (1.6/6 vs. 1.0/4). ABC's "American Idol" and "The Good Doctor" tied as Monday's No. 2 TV show in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6), trailing only "The Voice." "The Good Doctor" also qualified as Monday's No. 1 scripted show in viewers and young adults.
Opposite NBC's "The Voice" from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "American Idol" took 2nd place in Total Viewers (7.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.6/6). "Idol" tied "The Voice" as Monday's No. 1 TV show with Female Teens 12-17.
- The new ABC unscripted series held 92% of its week-ago premiere delivery on the night with Total Viewers and 89% in Adults 18-49.
"The Good Doctor" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 9.1 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m., "The Good Doctor" moved ABC into 1st place by a margin of 60% over runner-up NBC's "Good Girls" in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6 vs. 1.0/4). "The Good Doctor" was also the most watched show overall on Monday from 10:00-11:00 p.m. (9.1 million).
- "The Good Doctor" improved its time slot for ABC from the year-ago night by triple digits in viewers (+176% - 9.1 million vs. 3.3 million) and young adults (+129% - 1.6/6 vs. 0.7/3).
