ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" won the opening telecast of the 2015-16 season in Adults 25-54 (868,000) on September 27, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "This Week's" victory marked the first time in 7 years to rank No. 1 in Adults 25-54 during the opening week of the season - since the 2008-09 season. In addition, "This Week" has ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 for the 5th consecutive week.

"This Week" beat CBS' "Face the Nation" (705,000) by 163,000 to lead the CBS program by its largest season premiere margin in 8 years - since 9/30/07.

"This Week" outperformed NBC's "Meet the Press" (833,000) by 35,000, beating the NBC program in the first telecast of the season for the first time in 7 years - 9/28/08.*
