In his first reporting trip to Iran, Muhammad Lila will journey across the country asking men, women and children about the religious, cultural and political influences that shape their everyday lives. From a Google hangout inside a local classroom, to videos and photos of street art in Tehran, "Inside Iran" will feature a series of digital reports aimed at shedding light on the people, places and stories of success, struggle and sacrifice that are relatively unknown outside of Iran. Along his journey Lila will highlight the hopes, dreams and fears of the Iranian people, perceptions of their country and the preconceived notions they often face from the Western world.

In an effort to break down the cultural and political divide and fuel a dialogue, ABC News is calling on Americans to submit questions to their Iranian peers about life inside Iran. Users are encouraged to send questions via social to @MuhammadLila and @ABC using #InsideIran for a chance to get their questions featured on-camera.
