ABC Family to Air NATIONAL TREASURE Double Feature, 7/4

ABC Family lets the sparks fly on the 4th of July with back-to-back airings of the "National Treasure" movies starring Nicolas Cage. The ABC Family premieres of "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" and "National Treasure" begin Thursday, July 4th at 12:00PM ET/PT.
In "National Treasure," Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) is the keeper of the Gates family legend: That somewhere in the US, the Founding Fathers hid a treasure trove of famous artifacts and gold. The map to the stashed fortune is encrypted on the back of the Declaration of Independence and it's up to Gates and his friends to get to it first, before his enemies do. Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Sean Bean, Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel and Christopher Plummer costar. Airs at 2:30PM ET/PT, with an encore showing at 8:00PM ET/PT. In "National Treasure: Book of Secrets," Gates (Cage) finds himself butting heads with a manwho claims that he has diary pages showing that Gates' great, great grandfather was involved in Lincoln's assassination. In his quest to prove his ancestor's innocence, Gates discovers there is a fabled Book of Secrets, containing answers to history's biggest conspiracy theories and a map to a city of gold. The person supposedly in possession of the book is none other than the President of the United States. Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel, Alicia Coppola, Ed Harris, Bruce Greenwood, Helen Mirren, Joel Gretsch, Ty Burrell and Randy Travis costar. Airs at 12:00PM ET/PT, with an encore showing at 5:30PM ET/PT.
