Kazoom Flags Invents A New Way To Go Hiking In Las Vegas

By: Mar. 30, 2016

LAS VEGAS, March 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ A new trend has spread like wildfire throughout the Las Vegas hiking scene. It's called Kazoom Flags, and it's reinventing what it means to go on a hike.

It all began last year when two brothers, Blake and Flyn Cooley, began a unique marketing strategy for their travel adventure companyand it has seriously paid off. Their idea was to hide flags throughout Las Vegas' majestic outlying nature once a week, in some of the most extreme locations, challenging hikers and thrill-seekers to find them. The catch: these Kazoom Flags are worth moneyanywhere from $150 to $500 per flag with a yearly competition where the 2016 winner will get $5,000.

"It's part Capture the Flag, part Geocaching," explains Flyn Cooley, CTO of Kazoom Adventures. "Our goal is to get people off their couches and out enjoying mother nature while living a healthy lifestyle." Needless to say, the challenges have become a major hit in Las Vegas, with over 1,700 Las Vegas residents having signed up. "I mean, in the 4 th Quarter of last year, our advertising reached 400,000 people in Las Vegas, on Facebook alone," CEO, Blake Cooley explains.

The Kazoom Adventure platform is geared toward amplifying the social engagement of different businesses and brandswhich are then invited to sponsor flag hunts, quarterly competitions, yearly competitions, as well as engage in product placementand companies are lining up to do so. As Kazoom's reach grows, its notoriety is becoming an asset for the burgeoning adventure travel company. One thing is certain: hiking will never be the same.
