Newly signed to Interscope Records, the producers/remixers Louis The Child, which is 21-year-old Robby Hauldren and 20-year-old Freddy Kennett, release a new track - "Right To It," featuring Ashe - today via all digital partners. Featured this morning as Today's World Record with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, "Right To It" follows the Chicago-bred, Los Angeles-based duo's EP Love Is Alive released earlier this year.

Of the lilting, summery "Right to It," Hauldren says: "Freddy started playing this bass line and everyone was like, 'Yes, that.' It's crazy when you have that kind of energy in a room where all of a sudden everyone is instantly inspired. We wrote the entire song a couple of hours later. It has a Sunday barbeque, day-drinking type of vibe. We were like, 'Let's just write a song that would feel incredible when you're hanging out, just kicking it on a beautiful day.'"

Louis The Child will hit the road on October 12th for an extensive North American headline tour. The "Last To Leave" tour features support from Joey Purp, Lauv, Louis Futon, Prince Fox, Party Pupils, Point Point, and Win & Woo on select dates. Tour dates are below and tickets and more info can be found here.

In the five years since high-school students Hauldren and Kennett met at a Madeon concert and subsequently formed Louis the Child, the two Chicagoans have enjoyed an eye-popping ascent as artists, producers, and remixers - establishing themselves as genre-defying innovators and an exciting young voice in music. They have racked up more than 100 million streams of their singles (breakthrough hit "It's Strange" featuring K.Flay, "Weekend" featuring Icona Pop, and "Fire"featuring Evalyn), remixes (Chance The Rapper's "All Night," Miike Snow's "Genghis Khan," and Ty Dolla Sign's "Blasé"), and the tracks on their well-received 2017 EP Love Is Alive. Kennett also helped create the beat for one of 2016's biggest hits, "Closer" by The Chainsmokers, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 consecutive weeks and has racked up over one billion streams. Louis The Child have also appeared at such major festivals as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Ultra Music, and Coachella.
