KITTEN Releases New Single 'Oh My God' Today

New York City power-pop rock band KITTENhave just released their newest single "Oh My God". Listen to the track, which premiered exclusively with Baeble Music HERE. The track is now available for purchase and on all digital streaming devices.

"'Oh My God' is about all the feelings that come rushing in simultaneously when a romance comes to an end, states KITTEN frontwoman Chloe Chaidez. "The song began as a relatively straightforward pop track, but because it's KITTEN we had to put it through the aural fun house! Now it, hopefully, sounds like Talk Talk and Max Martin circa '99 did a collab. It's a bit of a departure from this year's other singles, but we think you'll dig it!"

This past September, KITTEN released their double-single Secrets, which featured two new tracks, "Secrets" and "Mercury". Stereogum raves "Secrets", "comes complete with some swooping vocals from frontwoman Chloe Chaidez, booming '80s drum fills, and even a guitar solo", and that "Mercury" is, "a disco-laced piece of synth-pop that's as gratifying as the band's other dancier moments." Secrets was the follow up to the band's highly acclaimed EP Pink Champagne and features tracks like "Strange Embrace," "Pink Champagne" and "I Did It!". The band garnered praise from outlets like FADER, PAPER, i-D, MTV, Nylon, Idolator, and Stereogum.

KITTEN recently wrapped the first leg of their U.S. tour supporting Blue October and will kick off the second leg starting on November 2nd in New Orleans. Before the band hits the road with Blue October, KITTEN will be headlining Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles on October 25th. Checkout the band's explosive, high energy live show, which Yahoo! calls "strident" and "soaring."

Energized by power pop propulsion, Britpop runway-readiness, sugary sweet hooks, and a whole lot of sexy swagger, KITTEN has strut into new territory yet again on their latest releases for RED MUSIC. If Pulp and Roxy Music joined forces to write a score for the movie Blow, it might sound something like the New York quartet. Fronted by Chloe Chaidez, the band have magnetically attracted a diehard fan base since the release of 2014's self-titled Kitten. Not only did the record bow at #9 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, but it also yielded the hit "Cut It Out." While touring with everyone from No Doubt and Paramore to Charli XCX and Garbage, the group consistently earned the praise of Noisey, Interview, V Magazine, FADER, Time and more. Their standout 2016 EP, Heaven or Somewhere in Between, landed on Rolling Stone's coveted year-end "20 Best Pop Albums of 2016." Throughout 2017, the musicians quietly assembled what would become their 2018 project in Brooklyn. Self-producing for the first time, they unlocked a new stylistic spectrum, tempering synths and guitars with personal, powerful, and provocative lyrics. Their debut EP Pink Champagne has properly kicked off this next chapter with teeth and claws out.
