Gus Dapperton Shares Video For MY FAVORITE FISH

Gus Dapperton recently announced his debut album, Where Polly People Go to Read along with his new single, the slow tempo love song "My Favorite Fish." Today, Dapperton shares a self-directed video for the track, following Gus on an aquatic and terrestrial serenade in his signature offbeat style. Check out V Magazine's conversation with Gus about the video here, who said "He breathes life back into the the gender ambiguity of 60's rock stars and the colorful punk of the 80's new wave. His music is a slow and synth breath of fresh, nostalgic air."

Across 10 tracks, Where Polly People Go To Read builds on the charm of Dapperton's debut EPs, maintaining the timeless quality of 60's soft-rock, 70's psych and 80's new wave while broadening his sonic palette, as showcased on the R&B hued "My Favorite Fish."

In a short period of time, Dapperton has gone from bedroom dreamer to headlining artist, and with due cause. He quietly ascended to the forefront of the pop conversation on the heels of viral smashes such as "Prune, You Talk Funny" and "I'm Just Snacking," averaging around 1 million monthly Spotify listeners and accompanied by videos which burst with style, charisma and a cinematic eye. He has also sold out shows worldwide and earned acclaim from the likes of NY Times, i-D, Vogue, The Fader and Pigeons & Planes.

Gus Dapperton kicks off an expansive headlining tour of Europe tonight in Lyon, France. Stay tuned for North American tour dates!
