Gustafer Yellowgold returns to NYC from his national tour on April Fool's Day with a new multimedia show celebrating the April release of his DVD/CD package Gustafer Yellowgold's YEAR IN THE DAY. Featuring songs and videos from Gustafer Yellowgold's Year In The Day, along with plenty of Gustafer classics, Gustafer's show will come to 92YTribeca, 200 Hudson Street, NYC on Sunday, April 1 at 11:00 a.m.
In Gustafer Yellowgold's Year In The Day, former Sun resident Gustafer Yellowgold gives his unique take on a year's worth of Earth holidays, both classic and unusual. New Year's Day, Groundhog Day, Pancake Day/Fat Tuesday, St. Patrick's Day and many more receive the Gustafer treatment of pop music and cartoon absurdity.
Groovy Gustafer Yellowgold came from the Sun and landed in Minnesota. His adventures burst forth in hand-drawn music videos from cartoonist/songwriter/performer Morgan Taylor. Taylor developed the "musical moving storybook" Gustafer Yellowgold experience as equal parts pop rock concert and hand drawn cartoon movie.
