LuPone and Benanti Won't Peform In 'Sondheim' Benefit by BWW News Desk
- April 07, 2008 A spokeswoman for Patti LuPone has announced that due to illness, the actress will no longer be able to perform tonight in 'Ladies Who Sing Sondheim'. According to reports Laura Benanti has also pulled out of the event due to illness also, Raul Esparza, Barbara Walsh and Donna McKechnie have jumped aboard as part of the evenings entertainment.

The award, given for outstanding achievement in composition, is presented annually to a graduating senior at LaGuardia High School of Music and Art & Performing Arts in New York City. Zamcheck received a $2,000 scholarship to further his musical education.
