Corella Ballet Makes U.S. Debut at City Center 3/17/2010 For Four Performance Engagement by BWW News Desk
- March 17, 2010 Choreographer Angel Corella has announced the U.S. debut of Corella Ballet Castilla y León, March 17 - 20 at New York City Center. The engagement will feature the U.S. premier of String Sextet, Mr. Corella's first choreography, performed to music by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky. The four-performance engagement will feature three other pieces to be announced.

Rob Teehan Receives JUNO Nomination for Classic Composition 'Dreams of Flying' by BWW News Desk
- March 04, 2010 Toronto-based composer and tuba player Rob Teehan has been nominated for a 2010 Juno Award for "Dreams of Flying" in the Classical Composition of the Year category. "Dreams of Flying" appears on the CD/DVD set "Selections from the 2009 National Tour" by the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, which commissioned and premiered this work on its concert tour last summer, conducted by Alain Trudel. This recording also received a Juno Award, for "Classical Album of the Year: Large Ensemble or Soloist(s) with Large Ensemble Accompaniment".
