The musicians will be Minyoung Chang, Lisa Kim, Lisa GiHae Kim, Soohyun Kwon, Anna Rabinova, and Na Sun, violins; Vivek Kamath, viola; Eileen Moon, Qiang Tu, and Wei Yu, cello; William Blossom and David J. Grossman, bass; Sherry Sylar, oboe; PascuAl Martinez Forteza, clarinet; and Yoo Jung Kim*, piano. Since 1984 the Philharmonic Ensembles series has presented diverse programming of both classical masterpieces and modern compositions. The New York Philharmonic Ensembles concerts are funded, in part, by the Zubin Mehta Fund for the Orchestra, an endowment fund created to honor the accomplishments of the Philharmonic's former Music Director, Zubin Mehta.
