Review: EMMA at Irish Classical Theatre
A gleeful production of a Jane Austen classic has hit the stage with such comedic joy that the cast can barely contain it’s boundless talent in the Irish Classical Theatre’s ebullient production of EMMA that opened their 2026-2027 season. Artistic Director Keelie Sheridan also stage directs thi…
Review: HAIR at Musicalfare At SHEA’S 710 Theatre
The psychadelic musical HAIR that put rock music onto the Broadway stage in 1968 may feel dated to some but that time capsule will always be fully recognizable. With such musical hits as “Let the Sun Shine In ” and “Aquarius,” the musical that shows hippies burning their green cards…

Review: FUNNY GIRL at Shaw Festival
When FUNNY GIRL opened on Broadway it was a smash hit in 1964 and would jettison the career of Barbra Streisand. It became a staple on repertory companies, regional and community theatres and summer stock. But the looming memory of Streisand's iconic performance on stage and then on screen seemed …
