Open Stay at Kenan Center Taylor Theatre

Open Stay, a new song cycle musical, makes its Western New York premiere at the Kenan Center Taylor Theatre for two performances only. The story follows sisters Lizzie and Rosalie, who are left picking up the pieces after their world falls apart, only to face a difficult choice when their estranged Aunt Rachel reappears. This fully female-driven production features an all-female cast, a female songwriter, and an original script developed alongside the casting process so each performer's strengths shaped their character. Presented by Spotlight Performing Artists, Inc., the production continues the organization's mission of artist-driven theatre supporting emerging performers in Western New York.
