Buena Vista Social Club is a Tony Award and Grammy Award-winning musical that follows legendary Cuban singer Omara Portuondo, once known as the Queen of Feeling, as she reckons with her past when an ambitious young record producer offers her a rare opportunity to return to the spotlight. The show is a journey through music and memory into the heart of Havana, telling the story of the iconic album through big dreams, second chances, and the soul-stirring music of Cuba's golden age. The production features a book by Marco Ramirez, direction by Saheem Ali, and choreography by Tony Award winners Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck. The North American Tour launches its premiere run at Shea's Buffalo Theatre with 8 performances, featuring music supervision by Dean Sharenow and orchestrations by Tony Award winner Marco Paguia.
