MusicalFare Theatre Presents VIOLET
MusicalFare Theatre, Western New York's most awarded and only professional musical theatre company, presents the Regional Premiere of VIOLET. With a score from Tony award winning composer, Jeanine Tesori, VIOLET features a moving story with show-stopping music. Winner of the Drama Critics' Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical when it premiered off-Broadway in 1997, and then on to a Tony nominated Broadway debut in 2014, VIOLET is about a scarred woman who embarks on a cross-country journey of discovery, and realizes the true meaning of beauty along the way.
The production stars Patrick Cameron, Taylor Carlson, Annette Christian, Jeffrey Coyle, Maria Farugia, Matthew Iwanski, Dudney Joseph, Jr., Ben Michael Moran, Matt Rivera, Ember Tate, Maggie Zindle andMichele Marie Roberts as "Violet." Set Design is by Chris Schenk, Lighting & Sound Design is by Chris Cavanagh, Costume Design is by Kari Drozd and Hair, Wig & Make-up Design is by Susan Drozd.
The performance schedule is November 1st - December 3rd, Wednesdays at 7:00pm, Thursdays at 7:00pm, Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 3:30pm and 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. There will be a special "half-price preview" on Tuesday, October 31st at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesdayperformances EXCEPT opening night, November 1st. THERE IS NO PERFORMANCE ON THANKSGIVING DAY (THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd).

MusicalFare Theatre is a professional musical theatre company in residence at, but independently operated from, Daemen College. MusicalFare Theatre is located at 4380 Main Street in Amherst, NY (between Harlem and Getzville Roads). Parking is FREE, and the theatre is handicapped accessible.
