Over The Fence at Brisbane Powerhouse Arts, Stores Rehearsal Room

Prepare to be introduced to the families of three distinctly different local households. They’re all engaged in their communities and are willing to share their stories of hardship, unusual experiences and moments of great generosity.

Bringing together live ‘talk show style’ interviews and a rolling screen of photos gathered by each household over the years, this conversational performance explores ideas about what makes a family, how friendships develop, the importance of community and living memories.

This is a first stage work-in-development showing of Over The Fence. A feedback session will follow the performance.
