White Space at Ted Shawn Theatre, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival

A.I.M by Kyle Abraham presents the U.S. premiere of White Space, a new evening-length work that examines the tensions of individual and communal belonging. Created by Kyle Abraham in residence at the Pillow Lab in December 2025, the work features an ensemble of 11 performers in an all-white environment with a live score for two pianists composed by Jason Moran and Nico Muhly. The production also involves visual artist Glenn Ligon, costume designers Reid Bartelme and Harriet Jung, and lighting designer Dan Scully. The work had its world premiere at the Lugano Dance Festival in Switzerland and arrives at Jacob's Pillow in celebration of A.I.M's 20th anniversary season.
