When Playwrights Kill is a new backstage comedy by Matthew Lombardo, making its world premiere at The Huntington Theatre. The story follows aspiring playwright Jack Hawkins, portrayed by Matt Doyle, whose dreams of Broadway are threatened when he hires the infamous diva Brooke Remington, played by Beth Leavel.
