The Narrow Land is a new film by Cape Cod filmmaker Jaiden Ramona van Bork that examines both the mythology and reality of Cape Cod, seeking to unravel difficult questions facing the coastal community as it confronts over-tourism and a housing crisis. Weaving a personal chronicle of childhood on Cape Cod with the voices of local artists, fishermen, and hospitality workers, the film channels the eerie realities of small-town America, posing questions about identity and memory. A Question and Answer session with the filmmaker will follow the Friday May 22 screening.
