The Addams Family is a musical comedy based on the iconic characters created by Charles Addams, featuring music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. The story centers on Wednesday Addams, who has grown up and fallen in love with a young man from a respectable family, leading her to confide in her father Gomez while keeping secrets from her mother Morticia. When the Addams family hosts a dinner for Wednesday's boyfriend and his parents, secrets unravel and chaos ensues. The production is presented by Americana Theatre Company at Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth, MA.
