Concord Women’s Chorus presents a historical concert that marks the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, featuring Boston-based historian and performing artist Diane Taraz. Through a selection of songs that reflect the experiences of women and people of color during this pivotal time, Taraz traces the pathway to rebellion, showcasing lively ballads and heartfelt hymns. Dressed in period attire, she incorporates authentic instruments such as the lap dulcimer and English guitar to bring the music to life. The concert will take place at the First Parish in Concord on March 23, 2025.
