Violinist Rachel Barton Pine performs a recital of Johannes Brahms's violin sonatas, joined by pianist Matthew Hagle. The program includes Brahms's own violin arrangement of a sonata better known on clarinet. Pine performs on the Guarneri del Gesù violin that Brahms himself selected for his chamber music partner, Marie Soldat-Roeger.
