The New England Film Orchestra performs a free family concert featuring iconic music from Star Wars, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, plus a special tribute to the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek. Performed by a full symphony orchestra, the program showcases some of the most iconic scores written for the concert hall and silver screen. Founded in 2019, the orchestra is known for dynamic performances that make symphonic music approachable for audiences of all backgrounds. This marks the fifth appearance by the orchestra at the Lowell Summer Music Series.
