Monsters, Inc. JR. is a new musical adaptation of the 2001 Disney/Pixar film, with book, music, and lyrics by Chris Anselmo and Jared Corak. Break a Leg Theater Works has been selected by Disney Theatricals to develop and premiere this pilot production before its nationwide release. The show is performed by a cast of local students ages 10–15, with Cast A featuring James Cooper as Mike Wazowski, Caidan Johnson as Sulley, and Maya Menzel as Boo, and Cast B featuring Laird LaCoste, Jackson Lieberman, and Joanie Soma in those roles. Owen Dewberry appears as Waternoose in all performances.
