MacBeth will be presented by the Boston College Theatre Department from March 20-23, 2025. Directed by Dawn Meredith Simmons, an Elliot Norton award-winner and Monan Professor in Theatre Arts, the production will feature an innovative interpretation that explores themes of identity. Students from Simmons's class will collaboratively contribute their experiences and insights to create a new script inspired by Shakespeare's classic. Simmons has directed various works across Boston, enhancing the theatrical landscape with her commitment to diversity and inclusion.
