John & Jen at The Unicorn Theatre (Larry Vaber Stage)

John & Jen is a two-person musical by Andrew Lippa and Tom Greenwald that traces the bond between siblings—and later between mother and son—across three decades, blending pop, folk, and musical theatre influences into a score that explores family, memory, and loss. Samantha Gershman plays Jen and Jake Bentley Young plays John in this production directed by Gregg Edelman, with music direction by Nicolas Perez. The production runs on the Larry Vaber Stage at The Unicorn Theatre, previewing May 20 and opening May 22 through June 7, 2026.
