Dunkirk at Coolidge Corner Theatre

Set during 1940 World War II, the film opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops find themselves surrounded by enemy forces in the Northern French city of Dunkirk, trapped on the beach with the sea at their backs. A quickly assembled British fleet led the legendary evacuation of over 300,000 Allied military forces in what Prime Minister Winston Churchill called a miracle of deliverance.
