"The cast also includes, in alphabetical order, Brad Anderson, Will Collyer, Michael Berresse (Obie Award-winner for his work as director/choreographer of "[title of show]"), Broadway's Charlotte d'Amboise..."
ETA: Damn! They fixed the alphabetical order!

Am TOTALLY Streetcar-ing it up come September! Keep watching the pavement outside the Donmar, you'll see me there at ridiculously-early o'clock sooner or later, queuing for mah dayseats. XD
Sooo... if it transfers, where does that put Pulver with regards to Robin Hood? I don't watch it, but I do read about it in the Radio Times. :3
I assume Phoebe Strole will play Mary Phagan, no? She is a tad mature looking, but it's not that much of a stretch.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
-John Guare, Landscape of the Body
Oh wow somehow in all the excitement I totally missed Phoebe Strole there. After seeing her in Spring Awakening and, more specifically Hamlet 2, I think she's all kinds of awesome. Plus she has quite the set of pipes on her. Whatever role she ends up playing, this production is looking better and better each day.
It is but...it's hard to see her in a role that isn't dance heavy and there is NO dancing (okay there might be some...in the production I saw they did do a waltz at the Governor's Ball) in "Parade".
I would assume that she might be Lucille, but I would never think that she would be perfect for the role. Still good for her if it is that role!
I would think that Berresse would be the guy writer who sings "Good News".
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Am I the only one upset about the wording "T.R. Knight, formerly of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," will play Leo Frank" ... and the fact that this show is when Grey's Anatomy will be back on air. *sigh* It looks like George really did die. *tear*
Oh, well, I am glad that T.R. is back on the stage. I'm really hoping this will transfer so I can see it in NYC. I've always wanted to see this show, and T.R., so it will be a fun combination.
After reading the roles each person got, I pretty much did back-flips. Although it's a small role, Phoebe Strole's contribution to "The Factor Girls/Come Up To My Office" will send this song (already my favorite from the show) into harmonic bliss. Plus some other really strong performers from different areas of acting life (different years, pedigrees, stage vs. film, etc.). Plus Lara Pulver (Lucille Frank) from the London Production. Plus the fact that this is a Jason Robert Brown musical.
I'll fully admit that based on what I've heard, I would love this to transfer. I mean in all actuality Parade has only been on Broadway for 85 performances and 39 previews. For a show with such a rich score and moving story, it seems it would have lasted longer. That being said, even if this does not transfer to Broadway I will take full advantage that I live five or so hours away.
After a pretty terrible start of the year (everything closing), a lot of new shows are opening up around the West Coast in the near future. Things are finally lining up for old Liz Lemon!
Please let it transfer! I would be so excited to finally see it live.

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
Mattbrain, I know I know I thought the same exact thing. I was hoping Strole would be Mary Phagan, but I have really high hopes for this Rose Sezniak. Still have to admit though that when I first assumed Phoebe Strole was playing Phagan my initial regret was that we wouldn't get to hear her on "The Factory Girls". So I'm kind of thrilled now to know we'll hear her there.
Oh and rather stupid question I'm sure, but does anyone know if The Mark Taper Forum does student rush? Or if any of the CA theaters do actually? I've been wondering this. Since it's so close and I'm a huge fan of this show, if this production ends up being as good as I hope I'll probably see it a bunch of times over the three month period. Student rush could end up saving me loads.

Mormonophobic: Center Theater doesn't have a student rush to my knowledge but they do have a program called Hottix. They have $20 tickets for shows that you can get ahead of time (although how far ahead of time you can get them depends on the show and its popularity). Here's the info (scroll down to hottix):
I would suggest calling them to see what exaclty the policy will be like for this specific production. Hope you get to see it... I'm from the LA area but will already be gone for school so I don't get to see it, which I am not happy about!
