I am counting the days until Hamilton. The current shows stage craft has supposedly never been used before. I am very exciting. Harem Tour was amazing. She really puts on a show for her fans.
Also, BTW her Holiday CD is AWESOME!!!!

Is her xmas CD good at all? I heard it on amazon and I wasn't impressed at all Im not too big on xmas music though, my roommate saw her a few years ago, and said that it was a magical evening that changed his life! So I got high hopes for this show, another friend that is coming said her show is better than Cher's and Madonna's.

I actually thought I wouldn't be able to see her because Im going to be out of NYC when she comes here but will be home in LA for her concert there!! I am so going!!! And will wear my Blind Mag shirt!
I once heard someone describe her (Ruthie Henshall) singing as sounding as though she's trying to swallow a whole meatball slightly larger than her windpipe. (The same person compared Michael Ball's singing to sounding as though he's sitting on a washing machine on spin cycle and Colm Wilkinson's to a man with a paralyzed lip trying to eat cottage cheese.) --- Schmerg_The_Impaler
I also thought she was lip synching, because she sounded so perfect live, but then I realized you could hear her breathing, she performs live for sure.

The tickets sell very well and she keeps them reasonable compared to some other artists. She typically does not use the entire arena, sometimes half, so she is never having to sell out the whole place. She ususally needs the bigger venues for the sets.

I can't even tell how amazing her show was. She sold out a pretty large arena here in South FL. The whole audience gave her a standing ovation at the end. It was truly the best concert I've ever seen; and I've seen Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Liza Minnelli, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and others. Don't miss her show, even if you are not a big fan of hers, let her surprise you with this fabulous tour!

Wow. Totally worth the price of admission. She definitely was not lip syncing as I was worried she would. I will see her anytime she comes back to Boston. She put on a great show.
For those of you seeing this show....try to get a seat in front of the stage so you can get the full visual effects.
It's a show to see more than once, BTW, her "Symphony" and her Christmas CD are amazing!

That critic has no business talking about Sarah, she should probably go review Britney Spears or Myley Cyrus, Im sure she'd give them raves. That review sucks. Not accurate at all.

If you are going to criticize a concert, you have to see it first...

I saw her this past Sunday at MSG. Hands down the best parts of the show were her duets with Mario Frangoulis (their PHANTOM OF THE OPERA rocked!) and Fernando Lima.
She is a bit of a hot mess presentation-wise, but her vocals were in great shape.
Haven't read the reviews yet (although, usually I don't care for anything the Herald writes) but the show last night was absolutely INCREDIBLE. I was totally captivated the entire time and I still can't get over some of those notes (also, I was sitting on one of the side loges and thought I had a great view and didn't miss a thing). I'll admit there were some songs I wish she did, but with a repertoire has huge as hers, obviously she can't do everything. Most definitely a night to remember.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know the song she did right after the Alice in Wonderland sequence? I haven't heard it before and I can't figure out what it is. Updated On: 11/25/08 at 05:30 PM
I never cared for her arm waving and odd expressions when singing, but her voice makes up for it.
Yeah, what's up with the arms? I've seen a few recent videos of her in concert and she brings her arms up near her face like she's slowly conducting herself.
That last review is worth reading! Thanks BroadwayBenny.
