Mario Frangoulis will be joining Sarah Brightman on her North American tour. Together, they will visit twenty-eight cities before the end of the year. Mario and Sarah recently recorded a duet together, "Carpe Diem" included on Sarah's A Winter Symphony release. Now is your opportunity to see the internationally acclaimed Greek tenor live in concert.

Frangoulis also has a new website, MarioFrangoulis.com; this site will feature news updates and new features, as well as more items in the Store. You can listen to some of Mario's music on the audio player and watch a video press kit with interviews and live performance clips in the biography section. The discography will also continue to grow as more and more collaboration recordings are added.

Recently, Mario performed at the Cutler Majestic Theatre in Boston, MA. Read a wonderful review of the show here. Plus, watch Mario in this video interview with GreekBoston.com.

Mario Frangoulis is a tenor of the 21st century, with the ability to sing everything from a hard-rock anthem to an operatic aria.

"My greatest love is opera and classical music," Mario says, "I always sang, from an early age, with a record player - with Greek singers, of course, but also recordings of movie musicals, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand. I knew I had a good voice but I didn't know I had an operatic voice. In the beginning, I was against anyone saying I had that kind of operatic sound. I had always felt I didn't belong in that category. I wanted to communicate the music, and I didn't think opera singers sounded young enough, modern enough. Then I saw a performance of Carmen in Athens with José Carreras and Agnes Baltsa, and I realized I could be all of those things."
