As per a newsletter sent out by them. Thanks to people over on another board :)

"How does an almost average family navigate today’s over-stimulated and over-medicated world? In this darkly funny and haunting new musical, one suburban household confronts its past and its future. With provocative lyrics and an electrifying score, Next to Normal explores how far two parents will go to keep themselves sane and their world intact. Straight from its successful run at New York’s Second Stage Theatre, Next to Normal is directed by Michael Greif (Broadway’s Rent, Grey Gardens) and features Alice Ripley (Broadway's Side Show)."

I don't know about you, but I'm stoked.

Wouldn't Kristina have to come over here first??? Have you heard of it definitely coming over?

I've just heard rumblings that she would play Kristina if it were ever to transfer to Broadway.

No, she plays Ulrika, the town whore. :) Or she did in the workshop she did. She's very clear she did NOT play Kristina.

Given her rendition of Kristina's big song "You Have To Be There" it's hard to imagine who COULD play Kristina and do it better...but she was Ulrika. :)

This is really nitpicky, but it's Arena Stage, not Arena Stages.

Sorry, it just really bothers me when people add that 's'!

There's a lot I am not certain of...

Yay! I was really hoping she would still be in it since Brian definitely won't be. Planning on seeing this and I can't wait.

Hopefully they will be able to keep Aaron Tveit and Jennifer Damiano.

November 21 to January 18.

Eastern Shuttle is great ~ thy pick up in times Square and are like $35 round trip! :) There are actually several "Chinatown buses" that go to DC for about that rate. I just prefer Eastern.

There is a better, even cheaper option starting on May 30:

http://megabus.com/us/

Trips start at $1. They are replacing Greyhound as my provider once they get their Baltimore stop set up.

Also, I will definitely be seeing N2N at least 5 times!

We'll see how long that rate lasts with gas prices. Plus it says FROM $1. What are the fares when the 1 or 2 seats at that price are gone?

I still trust Eastern...I've used them for years.

Thanks for the info...I will have to find a bus company closer to home, since I don't live in NY. The Thanksgiving holiday seems like the PERFECT time to go though!
