So, this evening I attended a Hanson (yes that Hanson) concert in Royal Oak, MI. One of the opening bands was Stephen Kellog and the Sixers and they have a lead guitarist named Kyle Riabko. It was his last night because he is leaving to join the cast of a certain Broadway show called "Spring Awakening". I was curious so I stopped by to say hi after the show and find out what character he'd be playing and he confirmed that he will be playing Melchior. Just though you all might be interested in hearing this. This is his website:
I heard that Gerard is the new Moritz and Alex is the new Wendla, and it wsa through a friend. But who knows where she heard it. But, she has been right with all of the previous SA replacement announcements.
That's interesting news. One of his songs was a free download on iTunes a couple of years ago. I think he was 17, and the song is called "Do You Right." Haha
The SA fangirls know about him already....except its only said that he will be a new ensemble/understudy.
But Hanson? Really?
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Haha, I'm so sorry I gave you heart attack. No, no Hanson's will be in Spring Awakening. I was a fan of theirs like 12 years ago. They put on a great show.
And Drama, I'm only going by what he said after the show last night. It could be wrong information or he could be understudying the role but he said he was going to be playing that role.
I don't even love Spring Awakening that much, but I thought it was interesting info.
Alex Matteo = life. You are right about how good she is.
"People that excel in the arts understand that the journey is the reward...the result an added bonus. Every day I act or train is a blessing and a dream come true. If Broadway beckons so be it. I have a personal definition of success that is unshakable by a possibly unobtainable goal." -HamletWasBipolar
Ok first off I LOVE you for having gone to a Hanson concert!!! hehe, I am going to the one in Northhampton Mass. next Friday- SO stoked
Oh and Stephen Kellog and the Sixers sound SO awesome
aaand, he is hott. <3 He looks maybe a liil bit oldish to be playing Melchi, but like, as long as he's a good actor that's cool! But seriously, dang. He's gorgeous.
(and SINCE we have Hanson mentioned in the context of Broadway- I have been wishing for a long time now that they'd compose a show, because it would be amazing. And heck, I'd even say that Zac would sound super pretty doing singing the SA score- which he would- but I've been a fan long enough to know that those boys cannot act worth anything hehe. It's part of their charm But yeah, if it weren't for that I'd freak SO much if Zac or even Tay were to do Spring Awakening!)
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
I think I mostly just want to hear Zac sing Left Behind because that would be sooo gorgeous

According to his website, he just turned 20, which makes him a few years younger than Jonathan Groff.
